The overhaul program of polyclinics is executed by 24% in Kazan

(KZN.RU, August 7, Anton Nozdrin). The implementation of the republican overhaul program for buildings of polyclinics and health facilities continues in Kazan. Now, the implementation of the program on average in the capital of Tatarstan is 24%. Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee and the chairman of the Housing and Utilities Committee, reported this today on the Business Monday in the Kazan City Hall.

The speaker noted that the types of works that are customary for the overhaul of social facilities are being fulfilled within the program: replacement of communications, windows, and doors, repair of bathrooms, roofing, façade, and entrances. “In addition, repair of ventilation systems in polyclinics is carried out and a significant amount of general construction work: redevelopment and decoration of premises within the standard “Friendly polyclinic”, said I. Giniyatullin.

According to him, the renovated facilities will be provided with modern medical equipment and furniture. In total, 1.3 billion rubles were allocated for repairs, 10% of which will go specifically to purchase furniture and equipment. Work on the adaptation of buildings and facilities for low-mobility groups of the population is carried out in 8 institutions under the program “Available Environment”.

I. Giniyatullin said that the program is scheduled to be finished in November this year. Representatives of the Executive Committee and the Ministry of Health of the RT regularly inspect the facilities. “There is a clear understanding that the program will be implemented on time and with proper quality”, said I. Giniyatullin.

Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, reminded that the overhaul program of polyclinics is unprecedented across the country. The head of the city instructed to monitor the work progress on the daily basis. He called it the important point that the reception of the population in the renovated buildings does not stop. “Surely, there are temporary difficulties but work with all the complexities is adjusted qualitatively”, said the Mayor of Kazan.

In total, 52 polyclinic buildings will be renovated in Kazan. The overhaul plan includes all children's polyclinics and several adult polyclinics, such as 8 facilities located in the Moskovsky and Kirovsky districts, 5 in the Novo-Savinovsky and Aviastroitelny districts, 8 in the Sovetsky district, and 9 in the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts.
