Ilsur Metshin awarded the EMERCOM of Russia medal “For the Commonwealth for the Sake of Salvation”
(KZN.RU, June 21, Mikhail Chentsov). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, was awarded the EMERCOM of Russia medal “For the Commonwealth for the Sake of Salvation”. Rafis Khabibullin, the Minister of Civil Defense and Emergencies of the RT, the head of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the RT, presented the award to the Mayor of Kazan at the XVII session of the Kazan City Duma.
By the order of the Minister of the RF for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, Ilsur Metshin was awarded for his long and unblemished service to the cause of civil defense, improving the system of control, communication and alerting of civil defense forces, maintaining their high degree of readiness.
Also, the Commemorative Medal of EMERCOM of Russia “Marshal Vasily Chuikov” was awarded to Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Kazan Executive Committee, and Guzel Ananieva, the general director of the Department of Food and Social Catering of Kazan.
As R. Khabibullin noted, there has been a decrease in the number of fires and fatalities in water bodies in the last decade. “This is the everyday work of everyone who is present in the hall today”, said the minister and congratulated the awardees.
