(KZN.RU, June 19). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, met with Ilya Klebanov, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the PAO “Sovcomflot”. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Lenar Safin, the minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the RT, Irek Fayzullin, the minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the RT, and others took part in the meeting.
The sides discussed issues of cooperation and strengthening of business bonds. In June 1988, a joint-stock commercial enterprise, one of the first in the history of modern Russia, was established on the basis of the All-Union self-supporting foreign trade association “Sovcomflot”. The founders of the enterprise were the Ministry of Marine of the USSR and the shipping corporations. Since October 2011, Ilya Klebanov has been the chairman of the Board of Directors of the PAO “Sovcomflot”.
