I. Metshin: “Facilitation of municipal services is always a step towards the entrepreneurs”

(KZN.RU, May 22, Anton Nozdrin). Starting June, 1st in Kazan the sign boards approval procedure will be facilitated.

A list of required documents will be reduced and the processing time will take 14 days instead of 30. Jeanna Belitskaya, deputy head of Department of architecture and urban planning – head of Department of urban design reported about this and other changes in the procedure of providing municipal services at today's Business Monday.

Jeanna Belitskaya said that sign boards on the new objects of major construction work could now be approved before the state registration of the object is issued.

Also by the request of citizens a passport form now has remarks that regime plates has to include text on two official languages. “All changes discussed and approved by the entrepreneurs. Future possibilities include providing this municipal service through the multifunctional center”, - the speaker said.

Starting June, 15th another administrative regulation on services concerning the approval of architectural appearance in the field of work not related to construction will come into force. Thus it will create all necessary conditions for approval of changing color schemes and facades equipment, as well as a base for control of bringing the facades in proper form.

“Facilitation of municipal services is always a step towards our entrepreneurs”, - Ilsur Metshin said. The Mayor of Kazan emphasized that the appearance of the city changes. Signs and notice plates are being made according to international standards. “We aim to see how we can shorten the procedure and the terms of the approval, the number of approving authorities. We ought to do this in dialogue with the entrepreneurs who approach us for these services”, - the Mayor said.
