I. Metshin: “We cannot do otherwise, except in accordance with law”

(KZN.RU, February 13). 16 apartment buildings, illegally operating, were found in Kazan in 2016. Claims about the demolition or suspension of operation were submitted by 6 of them, 4 claims are satisfied, 2 are under consideration. Nail Galeev, the head of the Management of city planning permissions, reported this to Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, at today's Business Monday.

“It is important to note that houses, constructed without permits, threaten the life and health of citizens, and primarily for the tenants themselves”, said N. Galeev.

In total, 121 illegally constructed objects were detected by the Management’s specialists, including 61 illegally exploited ones. “Measures were taken in regards of each, namely the letters to the control and supervisors have been sent”, said the speaker.

I. Metshin instructed to continue this system work. “All of this is the safety of people. Infrastructure, fire passages, the load on the network are not calculated in such houses. We cannot do otherwise, except in accordance with law”, marked the Mayor of Kazan and urged to prevent the construction of new facilities with violation of town planning rules.

According to N. Galeev, minimization of administrative barriers, reducing the time of authorization and improving the quality of municipal services department are among other tasks for 2017. According to him, the work on translation of the permits in electronic format is carried out for this purpose.

I. Metshin praised the done work. “All the rules of certain terms should be clearly observed. We are the institute, through which documents should pass in full accordance with the law”, said the head of the city.
