(KZN.RU, December 24). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, today visited the agricultural fair, organized on the territory of the agro-industrial park “Kazan”. Marat Akhmetov, the deputy Prime Minister of the RT and the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the RT Albert Karimov, the deputy Prime Minister of the RT and the Minister of Industry and Trade of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and others accompanied him.
Agricultural fairs in Tatarstan launched on September 10 this year. The trade is conducted on 10 major sites in Kazan, in Naberezhnye Chelny - on 3. You could also buy quality and cheap agricultural products in the territory of the technopolis “Novaya Tura” in the village Oktyabrsky of the Zelenodolsky region.
15 fairs have already been held for today. Production of 900 million rubles was imported on trading sites. Citizens were able to buy meat, milk, eggs, cereals and other agricultural products at prices far below retail: the difference is 20-30 percent.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited the trade arcade, got acquainted with the range of presented products, praised the quality of the goods, and talked to sellers and buyers.
The President thanked Tatarstan agricultural producers for their active participation in fairs. He noted that these activities are very popular among both city and rural residents.
Speaking to the management of the city, Rustam Minnikhanov urged the authorities to actively promote farmers and create all the necessary conditions for them, reports the press-service of the President of the RT.
