Evgeny Varakin appointed as the head of Office of the Kazan Executive Committee
(KZN.RU, October 10). Evgeny Varakin appointed as the head of Office of the Kazan Executive Committee. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, announced personnel changes today at the meeting. Evgeny Varakin held the post of first deputy head the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts administration of the city before the appointment.
According to the Mayor, Evgeny Varakin “came quite a long way in the structures of the executive power of the city”. “He has everything to be a worthy successor of the traditions at the site of an important responsibility”, said the Mayor. He wished the new head of the Office of the Executive Committee of the success in his new post.
The post of the head of the Office of the Kazan Executive Committee became vacant after the departure of Igor Sivov. He became the general adviser to the president of the International Student Sports Federation FISU.
