The new park on the Academician Parin Street was landscaped with children and sports grounds

(KZN.RU, October 11). The tree-planting on the Academician Parin Street, which length is about 300 meters from the Mavlyutov Street to the intersection of Syrtlanova Street and Prospect Pobedy, was landscaped. Hiking trails, lighting, small architectural forms, children's and sports playgrounds were set in the green zone. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, got acquainted with the works, carried out in the new park. The Mayor talked to the local citizens and instructed to consider the construction of a football field.

Igor Kulyazhev, the deputy head of the Kazan Executive Committee and the chairman of the Committee of the external improvement of the city, Andrei Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts administration, Evgeny Varakin, the head of the Office of the Executive Committee, Tatiana Prokofieva, the chief architect of Kazan, Rosa Zabbarova, the head of the MUP trust “Gorvodzelenhoz”, Daria Tolovenkova, the architect of the square, and others also participated in the inspection.

Andrei Lobov said that before, students, living in the Universiade Village, get to the subway on Prospect Pobedy at walked paths in the tree plantings without lighting, and asphalt tracks have appeared on the site of trails. Lobov said that the bike paths and trails that now can be connected with the Gorkinsky forest may be a continuation of improvement of the area. The Mayor instructed to study the issue for solving it in the future.

Children's playground is also installed on the territory of the square. Young mothers thanked the Mayor for the well-maintained square, noting that residents now have a place for walking with children. A dog walking site is built, tree transplant is performed, and small architectural forms installed in the park.

The front garden is spread near the apartment houses №2, 4 and 4a, combined into a single structure, which extends along the park. Igor Kulyazhev told that the inhabitants of these houses have decided to take care of the front garden. “Residents have assumed exactly 15 meters in front of the house: planting greenery, caring for them, cleaning out”, said I. Kulyazhev and added that the decision was made at a general meeting of tenants. Now the garden is separated from the park by a decorative fence.

After seeing the playground on the territory of the park, I. Metshin instructed to consider the possibility of building a football field here for local children.

During the inspection, one of the local residents thanked the Mayor of Kazan for the landscaping of the square. “Previously, people gathered in this place just for drinking. Now a lot of people walk here, even with children, and the paths are very comfort. Thank you very much!”, the citizen addressed to I. Metshin with warm words. The Mayor told her that the new park appeared due to the support of Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, in the framework of the Year of parks and squares.

300 million rubles were allocated by the decision of the President of Tatarstan on the improvement of parks and squares program in Kazan in 2015, the Year of parks and squares. 6 objects have been included in the program: the square named after Academician Parin, park “Krylya Sovetov”, the Uritsky Park, the Lyadskoy garden, the park “Chernoe Ozero”, and the Gorkinsky and Ometevsky forest.
