(Kazan City
KZN.RU, 25 May). "Last Bell" sounded today for the 5427 graduates of
schools at Kazan Kremlin embankment. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin congratulated
yesterday's eleventh grades entering into adulthood, their parents and teachers.
"Today
is an important day for all of you, the door to adulthood opens before you, 11 carefree
school years are behind" - the head of the city addressed to students and
wished them success and confidence on the road ahead.
I. Metshin
thanked the teachers who made an enormous contribution to the formation of the
personalities of children. "Thank you, dear teachers, for your
professionalism and for what you have done for all these years, loving your job
and doing everything to reveal the talents of your students", - he said.
Special
thanks were addressed to the Kazan students, who always tried to be among the
best and to represent the capital of Tatarstan at various contests and
competitions. "All these years you've delighted us - parents, teachers,
city and republic leaders – with your talents, successes in city, republican,
Russian and international competitions, victories in sports activities,
participation in cultural events. Thank you for what you are doing for our
city! You are the color and decoration of Kazan"- I. Metshin stressed.
Also
graduates were congratulated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of
Tatarstan - Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan
Engel Fattakhov, rectors of Kazan universities, teachers of urban schools who
wish the guys luck in adult life and new successes. In response, the students
thanked the teachers for their support, knowledge and warm memories of school.
On this
memorable day on the waterfront the best creative teams of the city, the owners
of the Grand Prix of the youth festival "Russian Student Spring",
rock band "Truants" and others performed for students. The most
important and touching moment of the holiday was the bell that rang out over
the sunny waterfront. Student of lyceum №149 Kamilla Zagidullina heralded on completion
of the lessons.
