New Center for youth innovative creativity opened in Kazan
(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 18). On April 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov opened new Center of youth innovative creativity at the Engineering lyceum of Kazan national research technical university.
Also the event was attended by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Deputy Prime Minister of RT - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, Deputy Prime Minister of RT - Minister of Information and Communication Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology field Ivan Bortnik, rector of KAI-KNRTU Albert Gilmutdinov, heads of the republican ministries and departments.
Upon arrival Rustam Minnikhanov visited classrooms, got familiar with the development project of the lyceum, a special project zone and workshops where modern software systems are used for educational process.
Later on the official opening ceremony of the Center of youth innovative creativity took place. Here children will learn robotics, engineering graphics, and programming.
Three other centers opened at the same time, “Image” center in Almetyevsk, “Perspektiva” in Naberezhnye Chelny, and “Kidspace” at Kazan-Arena stadium.
