Kirov garden opened after reconstruction in Kazan
(Kazan City KZN.RU, September 9, Albert Murtazin). After extensive reconstruction another park - garden named after Kirov opened at st. Moskovskaya in Kazan. The opening of the renewed park was visited by the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin today.
The event was also attended by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Natalia Fishman, head of the administration of Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts Andrei Lobov and representatives of the investor company.
Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin visited the updated park and appreciated the quality of the works. They talked to the invited to the opening veterans of the Great Patriotic War and made several joint commemorative photos.
In honor of the opening of the park two musical ensembles - jazz band "Fantasy" and the ensemble of guitar players - pupils of music school №3 named after R.M.Yakhin played.
The total area of the Kirov garden is 1 hectare. The green zone is located in the central part of Kazan and is a monument of landscape architecture. Its location historically formed on the site of the Hay market. In the central part of the garden a bowl of the fountain with sculptural composition "Labor will be the lord of the world" is located, made by famous sculptor Sadri Akhunov in 1935. The idea of creating a sculpture is the glorification of labor across the globe.
Today, the appearance of the park is completely changed - fountain was rebuilt, sculpture was renovated, new track from pavers were laid, lighting poles were replaced, park benches and fences around the perimeter of the garden with elements of cast iron were replaced. Also throughout the park lawn was laid, a large flower garden and new trees and shrubs were planted. Elements of accessible environment for people of low mobility, Wi-Fi systems and video surveillance cameras were organized in the Kirov garden. It is also planned to install a playground and plant new trees this season.
