R.Minnikhanov and I. Metshin attended the opening of the park "Continent" in Kazan
(Kazan City KZN.RU, September 9). The new park "Continent" opened today in Kazan at Yamashev Avenue. The guests of the celebration were the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, head of administration and Aviastroitelny and New Savinovsky districts Timur Alibaev, other officials and numerous residents of the neighborhood.
Assistant to the President of Tatarstan Natalia Fishman and project architect Daria Tolovenkova made a tour of the new park for Rustam Minnikhanov, according to the portal of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Park "Continent" opened in Kazan in the frames of the Year of parks and gardens in Tatarstan. This is a new space for family vacations, walks and games with children.
The basis of the concept of the future park was the globe with its continents, which appeared throughout the park. The updated recreation area consists of two "hemispheres", each of which has a separate entertainment venues.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited the entire territory of the park, talked to local residents, and was photographed with young park visitors.
For guests of the park "Continent" today a children's program, thematic workshops on folk art, English language lessons and master classes, which got acquainted with the traditions and customs of different nations were organized.
