New kindergarten opened in a residential area "Emerald City" in Kazan

(Kazan City KZN.RU, September 8, Zilya Gayfi). In a residential area "Emerald City" in Privolzhsky district of Kazan kindergarten №140 “Emerald” opened. Mayor Ilsur Metshin congratulated children, their parents and teachers with housewarming. “We open another kindergarten according to the program of the President of the Republic of Tatatrstan and the federal program "Road Map". It has everything to ensure that our children grow up healthy and happy, "- said Ilsur Metshin.

Kindergarten "Emerald" with a well-maintained playground in the three-storey building with total area of ​​1903.2 sq.m. is located at st. Batyeva, 11. Ilsur Metshin inspected the premises of the new preschool, talked with the children and their parents, attended classes. In honor of the opening the staff and pupils of the kindergarten prepared a small concert, where children showed their talents in dancing, singing and reading poetry in Russian and Tatar languages. The Mayor praised the children for the work, noting that a new generation of talents is growing in the city. "The heart is happy, looking at our talented children. I would like to work more and better, so that our capital was the most comfortable place to stay, and children had the opportunity to learn and develop, "- said the Mayor.

At the end of the holiday visitors traditionally handed over a certificate for the purchase of sports equipment to the director of the kindergarten and a large cake for children.

Municipal kindergarten of combined type for 140 children is the second opened in the area "Emerald City", where there are about 2.5 thousand flats. Before a private kindergarten “Mosaic-republic” for 160 pupils was opened here, it was put into operation simultaneously with the delivery of the residential complex. Opening of the second kindergarten has become a welcome event for the population of the area, mostly young families.

Preschool "Emerald" is built under the "Road Map" program for 2015. In total this year it is scheduled to put into operation 18 kindergartens, including 5 preschools in Privlzhsky district for 760 places, in Kazan.

As part of the task set by the President of Russia, Executive Committee of Kazan conducts systematic work to eliminate the deficit of places in kindergartens for children aged 3 years and older until 2016. This plan is carried out in advance in the capital of Tatarstan: since 2011, 100% of preschool children aged older than 3 years are provided with a place in kindergarten. In the period from 2013 to 2015 in Kazan 53 new kindergartens for 7770 places were built, including 12 preschools for 1,600 places in the Privolzhsky district.
