I. Metshin presented the award of K.Vasilev to the best teachers of art schools of Kazan

(Kazan City KZN.RU, September 3). From 16 to 18 October in Kazan at "Tulpar"stadium the final of the championship of Russia in rugby league teams will take place. In the finals teams of the Crimea, Chita, St. Petersburg and the team "Dynamo- Energy " of RT will take part.

The holding of this tournament in Kazan became possible thanks to the victory of Tatarstan team "Dynamo-Energy" in Moscow on August 29 against a team of "Youth of Moscow-Glory".

Recall that last year rugby Kazan team "Dynamo-Energy" won the national league of rugby of Russia. This year they take part in the Premier League. A difficult period of matches at various levels is ahead.

The awards ceremony of Konstantin Vasiliev established by the Mayor of the city is held annually in the museum dedicated to the works of one of the most interesting contemporary artists of Russia. Teachers of children's art schools and art departments of music and art schools in Kazan can participate in the competition. This year, in addition to works of students of teachers participating in the contest, works by the artists - followers of Konstantin Vasilyev were presented in the museum.

Opening the awards ceremony, the Mayor thanked all the participants for their attention to the history of Kazan and its cultural foundation. "It is important that every year on the birthday of our illustrious compatriot we are going to his museum, look at the works of Konstantin Vasilyev and his followers and the disciples," - said the Mayor of Kazan.

He also drew attention to the exhibited works of young talents of Kazan, whose teachers came to the museum to attend the award ceremony of K.Vasilev. "Today there are teachers of art schools in the hall, who educate almost 1.5 thousand children. Of course, you are the elite of our city, its decoration, heritage, which we cherish and are proud of ", - said I. Metshin.

The Mayor noted the value of teaching staff for the development of children of Kazan. "In your face, I want to thank all those people, educators, artists who teach our so different, but equally talented children" - the Mayor appealed to of teachers and wished them success in their work.

The winners of the award of K.Vasilev in Fine Art this year became a teacher of children's art school №6 Laysan Yarullina and teacher of children's art school №2, member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan Lubov Grigorieva. Mayor of Kazan awarded the winners with diplomas and congratulated on their victory.

During the visit to the museum I. Metshin also looked at the main exhibition halls, each of which reveals the talent of Konstantin Vasilyev in a new way: as an unsurpassed realist, avant-gardist or  abstractionist. The Mayor also discussed the prospects of development of the museum with the director Gennady Pronin. Admirer of the artist and one of the most dedicated workers of the museum said that after moving into the new building the number of visitors to the museum has increased 5 times.

"I think this is not the limit. I am sure that every year the attention to the creation of Vasiliev will be more and more from our children, Kazan residents and tourists. I really want that there would be as much of museums, objects in which we have kept our heritage and history, including the modern, as possible "- Ilsur Metshin noted.

The Mayor also praised the originality of artists who work in the same direction as K.Vasilev.

Municipal Museum of Konstantin Vasilyev opened June 26, 2013 at st. Bauman in a part of Petzold House. The area of ​​the new museum is 3 times more than it was in picture gallery of Konstantin Vasilyev on st. Gvardeyskaya. In addition to the exhibition halls the museum has the fund storage, archive and memorial area. The idea to establish an award of K.Vasilev was voiced first on the day of opening of the museum of the artist. Mayor of Kazan supported the initiative of the director of the museum and offered to encourage the best teachers of urban schools of arts at the artist's birthday - September 3. Presenting of the award has become a traditional event in the creative life in the city.
