Online training sessions, an air bubble massage bath and a starry sky at the Yardem Inclusive Center on Serova Street

The technical opening of the only one in Rissia inclusive center Yardem took place in Kazan. The three-storey complex with an area of 3,800 square meters is designed for about 230 visitors per day. It provides free services for blind people and disabled people, including those with diseases of the musculoskeletal system. The facility was designed taking into account the needs of disabled people – special solutions are provided from parking and entrance to changing rooms, showers and a swimming pool. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the technical opening.

“Today we are taking part in the technical opening of the center. The beautification of Yardem Boulevard is being completed, as well as the renovation of the facades of neighboring houses – everything will be ready in just a week,”- said Ilsur Metshin. 

The swimming pool of the center has four lanes 25 meters long and a variable depth – from 1.2 to 1.8 meters. Up to 24 people can train here at the same time.

Special wheelchair lifts into the water are provided in the swimming pool. All solutions were designed for the training of disabled people, as well as for holding high-level competitions here.

Premises for water and wellness treatments are located next to the pool. The center provides baths with hydro and air bubble massage, underwater shower massage and color therapy. There is also a Charcot shower, massage rooms, physical therapy rooms and rooms for medical workers and trainers.

The fountain in front of the entrance to the center also started working. It has a 3.5–meter-high bronze sculpture “Moon Garden” in the shape of a crescent moon. Alfiz Sabirov, an artist from Perm, created it. Together with the stone base, the sculpture weighs about two tons.
