This year, the area of floral arrangements in Kazan will be tripled compared to last season. Flowers will be planted on an area of more than 22,000 square meters, covering 68 streets. Main highways and locations will be decorated with flowers. Albert Shainurov, Chairman of the Land Improvement Committee, announced these plans at the Business Monday meeting.
This season, the city will be decorated with over 20 types of seedlings, such as begonias and petunias to dahlias and salvias that have been adapted to the climate conditions of Tatarstan. The flowers for the arrangements were grown in the new greenhouse complex of Gorvodzelenkhoz on Daurskaya Street.

Restaurants, cafes, hotels, offices, and building owners are investing in flower design, as they want to live in a comfortable and well-maintained city. New flowerbeds will be installed on Vishnevskogo Street and Millennium Square. One of the main locations will be the entrance to the city from the Orenburgsky Tract.
The vertical gardening will be arranged along 30 central streets, including Kremlevskaya, Pushkina, Mushtari, Alberta Kamaleeva, and Pavlyukhina Streets. Approximately 30,000 trailing petunias will be used to decorate these streets.
In addition, 20 three-dimensional compositions consisting of 70 individual figures will be decorated. Gorvodzelenkhoz will carry out the design of the flowerbeds and their subsequent maintenance. The company's specialists will provide a comprehensive range of plant care services, from watering to fertilization, until autumn.
