A Kickboxing Center will be opened in an empty building in Novo-Savinovsky city district

This year, a Kickboxing Center will open on Golubyatnikova Street in Kazan. It will be located in an empty building next to school № 170. Repair work has already begun at the venue. Up to 180 children and teenagers will have an opportunity to train at the new center daily. They will be coached by award-winning athletes, including Rustem Zinatullin, Master of Sports of Russia in kickboxing and coach with 30 years of experience, as well as Oleg Morozov, multiple winner of Russian, republican and regional competitions. The progress of the repair work was inspected by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

Nowadays, we ensure that our children have the opportunity to practice sports close to their place of residence. One such example is the new kickboxing venue in the Novo-Savinovsky city district. From an empty facility, specialists will create a place of attraction for hundreds of boys who will practice kickboxing and lead a healthy lifestyle», – said the Mayor of Kazan. 

The building has been empty for 22 years, previously there was a shooting range. The venue will be divided into functional areas: a training hall, a gym, a ring, locker rooms, showers, as well as an office and utility rooms. New tatami mats, a boxing ring, pears, dummies for practicing punches, and sports equipment will be purchased for training. The gym will be equipped with a stationary bike, ski and rowing equipment.
