Renovation of the facades of six apartment buildings on Khadi Taktasha Street near the Galiaskar Kamal Theater building has started in Kazan. By summer, the facades will be improved, architectural lighting will be installed, balconies will be highlighted with lights, and stained glass windows will decorate commercial premises. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the repair work today during an off-site meeting.
«This street is being significantly improved. We have built a new theater, landscaped a park with an embankment. In 2024, the courtyards were renovated under to the program of the Rais of Tatarstan “Our Yard”, and it was one of the largest territories where the courtyards of 24 buildings were simultaneously landscaped. Khadi Taktasha Street appears in a new look both for the residents and for the guests of the city who come to visit the new theater. Therefore, the contractors working at the facility face a challenging task», – Ilsur Metshin said.
Renovation of the facades is underway at 97, 99, 101, 103 and 105 Khadi Taktasha Street. Today, 705 people live there. The apartment buildings were built in 1965-1969 and after more than half a century, the facades need renovation.
