Kazenergo JSC is one of the largest heat supply enterprises in Kazan, celebrates its 60th anniversary. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin attended a concert at the Saidash Recreational Center, congratulated the staff on the significant date, and presented the best employees with municipal awards.
Addressing the audience, Ilsur Metshin noted that the company had come a long way over the years. Thanks to the efforts of the team and the initial 15 employees, a heating network with a length of nearly 704 kilometers was created in Kazan. This network consists of 126 boiler houses, which provide heat to one-quarter of the population of Kazan, or 3,500 facilities.
The Mayor of Kazan noted a significant contribution of the management to the company's development. One of them was Rauf Kafiatullin, who headed the organization from 1977 until 2006 and helped centralize the heating system in the city.
«Over 60 years, the Kazenergo team has built 126 boiler houses and laid 704 kilometers of networks. The organization employs approximately one thousand people, and whole families continue the work of their parents. Thanks to their hard work during the most difficult times, we have always had access to heat and hot water, and we are confident that they will continue to accomplish any task» –- Ilsur Metshin said in his speech.
