On the occasion of the Day of the City and the Republic, a branch of city polyclinic № 20 will be opened in the “Vesna” residential area. The construction is being carried out under the federal project “Modernization of Primary Health Care” as part of the national project “Long and Active Life”. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the construction site along Umyrzaya Street.
The city polyclinic № 20 will have six branches and will serve approximately 36,000 people- residents of the Vesna, Svetaya Dolina, and Leto residential areas, as well as nearby villages in the Sovetsky District. The facility will serve up to 400 patients per day.
“The national project allowed us to build a new polyclinic that will serve residents of the Vesna, Svetaya Dolina, Leto residential complexes – as many as 36 thousand people,”- said Ilsur Metshin.
The branch will employ a total of 390 people, including 140 doctors, 209 mid-level medical staff, 11 junior medical staff, and 26 administrative staff.
The branch is being built under the federal project “Modernization of Primary Health Care” as part of the national project “Long and Active Life”.
Earlier, it was announced that three new healthcare facilities would be opened in Kazan this year. In addition to the branch of city polyclinic № 20 in the Vesna residential area, a children's polyclinic is being built in the Volzhskie Prostory residential area, as well as an outpatient clinic in the village of Vishnevka in the Privolzhsky city district.
