The “Good Kazan”
Coworking with a call center and a conference hall will open by the end of
August in the Sovetsky district. It will bring together representatives of more
than 100 charitable communities under one roof, who will gather to share
experience and develop joint projects. Up to 24 specialists will be able to
work in the offices at the same time. Currently, renovation is continuing in
the facility allocated by the municipality. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin
inspected the progress of work.
The head of the
city noted that the volume of assistance provided and the number of people
willing to participate in charity are growing every year, therefore in October 2021
it was decided to allocate a more spacious facility. Previously, the
organization was located in an office with an area of about 8 sq.m on Profsouznaya
Street – it was not possible to hold seminars and meetings with representatives
of other charitable associations.
“Today, the
“Good Kazan” has more than 100 partners – these are people who are not
indifferent to the problems of others. We want to thank them and arrange a
coworking with comfortable conditions for effective work,”- said the Mayor of
Kazan. I. Metshin expressed hope that coworking will become a new big home for
both employees of experienced charity organizations, and for those who are just
starting their activities.
In a room on the
first floor of a residential building at 5 Sechenov Street with an area of 506
sq. m, the overhaul has been carried out since March. After the opening of the
coworking, the “Good Kazan” Foundation will be able to hold master classes,
seminars, meetings with beneficiaries and other events. Mothers of children
with disabilities can also work in the coworking every day and receive
assistance from tutors and volunteers. The director of the ANO “Good Kazan”
Tatiana Merzlyakova noted that the visitors of the coworking would be provided
with everything necessary for work.
Ilsur Metshin,
together with the head of the administration of the Sovetsky district Roman
Fatkhutdinov and the director of the foundation, looked around the offices of
the coworking, and got introduced with a design project. “It is important that
a cozy and comfortable atmosphere is created here. Coworking will be a great
common home for those who provide assistance to the citizens in need,”- the Mayor
stressed. I. Metshin highly appreciated the design project.
According to R.
Fatkhutdinov, a public organization of veterans and pensioners of the capital
of Tatarstan will be located in the premises next to the charity organization,
so it will be divided into three parts – the Good Kazan office, the veterans' office
and area for common use.
According to the
design, in addition to the conference hall and call center, administrative and workrooms,
an inclusive game room, a souvenir warehouse, a baby changing table, a kitchen
and a meeting room will be located in the “Good Kazan”. Interior design works
are currently underway at the facility.
I. Metshin also
got acquainted with the design project of the premises for the public
organization of veterans. They will comprise meeting room, shelves for storing
documents, a photo studio, and veterans will be able to use a conference room
and a kitchen.
Along with the
interior works, the landscaping of the adjacent territory is carried out
according to the Our Yard program.
