The Tatarstan International Forum on Energy and Energy-saving Technologies
has opened today at the Kazan-Expo Exhibition Center. The event was attended by
Aide to the Russian President Igor Levitin, Tatarstan President Rustam
Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov said that 63 Russian companies
from 34 regions of Russia are taking part in the forum this year. Today, the
site will also host a meeting of the State Council Commission on Energy. In
addition, the exhibition “Energy. Resource Saving” and a meeting of the Tatarstan
Cabinet of Ministers will be held.
“Energy efficiency and environmental protection are goals, attainment of
which will further the competitiveness of our economy and the creation of a
comfortable urban environment, – Rustam Minnikhanov said. – I am sure that the
joint work of the forum participants will be aimed at strengthening scientific
and technological capabilities and developing integrated ties at all levels. We
are ready to share our experience and are open to dialogue”.
Aide to the President of Russia Igor Levitin emphasized that the forum is
an important event and provides an opportunity to use new technologies in the sphere
of energy saving, including in the construction of residential buildings. He
also noted that in present conditions, it is an opportunity for Russian
manufacturers to switch to their own technology.
After the opening of the forum, the visitors got acquainted with a
specialized exhibition of energy-saving technologies. Tatenergo, Setevaya Company,
Tatenergosbyt, Tatneft and other companies took part in the exhibition. Their
representatives spoke about the production dynamics in 2020-2021, as well as new
projects. It was noted that companies are steadily reducing losses in heating
networks, as well as implement a policy of using domestic equipment and
technologies.
The visitors of the forum got acquainted with the stands of universities,
various enterprises and companies involved in the sphere of energy and energy
saving, Tatarstan President’s Press Office reports.
