This year, in
the Sovetsky district of Kazan, construction of two schools for 2,725 places is
planned in the Svetlaya Dolina and Novye Gorki residential complexes. The renovation
of social institutions will also continue. Today, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur
Metshin instructed to keep the pace of work on the development of the
infrastructure of the district at the Business Monday meeting.
“The Sovetsky
district is a place where new initiatives are being tested and implemented, -
I.Metshin said. - I am glad that the district is developing every year, new
residential complexes and social facilities are being built. At the same time,
the renovation of the present infrastructure is being carried out, which allows
developing of the district”.
Last year, the
Unber school was opened in the Sovetsky district for 1,500 students, built under
the Housing and Urban Environment national project, reminded the head of the
district administration Roman Fatkhutdinov. In addition, 6 kindergartens were
built for 1,210 kids. “This year it is planned to start the construction of two
schools: in the Svetlaya Dolina and Novye Gorki residential complexes”, - R.Fatkhutdinov
said at the meeting.
In 2021, three
kindergartens were renovated as well, and this year it is planned to overhaul
four more preschools for 358 young Kazan residents.
Last year, 10
school canteens and 4 gyms were renovated in the district's educational
institutions. According to Roman Fatkhutdinov, renovated gyms will be put into
operation at three more schools this year, and school canteens - in seven
institutions.
Under the
republican program, as well as with the support of sponsors and enterprises, eight
more new modern playgrounds will open in the Sovetsky district in 2021.
There are also
plans for renovation of the medical institutions – the renovation will take
place in the old building of the infectious diseases’ hospital. “In addition, we
are ready to launch the construction of a new branch of the children's
polyclinic in Derbyshki”, - R.Fatkhutdinov added.
In the Sovetsky
district, it is planned to overhaul two branches of the Doverie center at 4 8-Marta
Street and 2 Novo-Azinskaya Street, where a modern space for the youth of the
district will be arranged.
The issue of the
development of youth infrastructure in the villages remains acute, R.
Fatkhutdinov noted. “Our young talents need more leisure facilities in Azino,
as well as in Kulseitovo and Vishnevka, - he believes. – These are our tasks
for the near future”.
