Ilsur Metshin: “Let the next year be open only to the good and all news will be positive”

The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin congratulated the residents of the city on the New Year.

I sincerely congratulate you on the upcoming year 2021!

The most favorite and long-awaited holiday gives us the opportunity to meet with relatives and beloved ones, share warmth and attention, and make wishes.

In the memorable year of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Tatar ASSR, Kazan was awarded the honorary title City of Labor Valor, which paid a well-deserved honor to the feat of the older generation. It is important for us to remember the exemplary courage of our predecessors and pass on to our descendants the sacred memory of the Great Patriotic War.

In the past year, thousands of Kazan residents have experienced positive changes: renovation and construction of residential buildings, kindergartens and schools, improvement of yards and favorite recreation areas have enhanced the quality of life in the capital of Tatarstan. The prosperity of Kazan, which is becoming more modern and comfortable, is the result of the work and careful attitude of all residents who sincerely love our beautiful city with a rich history.

We have great plans for the upcoming year on the implementation of important projects and programs. I am convinced that together we will bring them to life!
