R. Minnikhanov was offered to organize a republican championship of working professions

(KZN.RU, March 15). Modernization of Kazan CHP-2 has made it possible to significantly improve the efficiency of the combined heat and power plant. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, announced this today at a meeting with workers of the energy company. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, also took part in the event.

The President noted that reliable energy supply is the guarantee of the development of the region. “We are an industrial republic and we do not see Tatarstan without serious projects in the energy, petrochemical, engineering industries”, he said.

The President of the RT thanked the staff for their well-coordinated work. “The numbers for 2017 demonstrate efficiency, profit, other positive indicators, the use of conventional fuel per kilowatt of energy, work on the heat supply of the capital and other our cities. This work is systematically conducted by you”, he marked.

According to the President, today the company “Tatenergo” is doing a great job of upgrading the facilities. A technical update of Zainsk GRES is in the plans. “I am confident that we will be able to resolve these serious issues thanks to your experience and skill, with our support”, marked Rustam Minnikhanov.

The press service of the President of the RT reports that one of the employees of the enterprise asked the leadership of the republic to consider the issue of the development of road infrastructure in the RC “Salavat Cupere” for traffic unloading.

Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, spoke about further plans for the construction of roads in this micro-district. He said that this year 5.5 billion rubles was allocated to the roadworks plan, a significant part of which will be aimed at improving the transport infrastructure of the “Salavat Cupere”. “We will make turnarounds on the Gorkovskoye highway, which will relieve traffic in the rush hour. We are also expanding the Tetsevskaya Street so that we can start an additional bus traffic with 8 bus stops, lighting, and the necessary infrastructure”, said the Mayor.

Another problem is the lack of places in nurseries. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the country's leadership has already taken this issue under control. “The Russian president announced a new program for the construction of nurseries. We will also implement it here. We will receive 500 million rubles from the federal budget for 2 years and invest our money. I think that serious changes will take place in the near future”, marked Rustam Minnikhanov.

Also, the President of the RT was offered to organize a republican championship of working professions for young employees of enterprises, most of whom cannot participate in the WorldSkills Championship due to age restrictions.

“Yes, there are conditions for the championship – up to 22 years. But there are industry championships, where age is limited to 28 years. We have all the possibilities for organizing the republican championship. I think we are ready to do this”, added Rustam Minnikhanov.
