(KZN.RU,
November 30, Alsu Safina). Today, the regulations on the All-Russian cultural
and charity festival of children's creativity “Good Wave” were signed at the
Kazan City Hall. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and Igor Krutoy, a People's
Artist of Russia, the general producer of the festival, a composer, signed the
document. Thus, a large-scale all-Russian movement was launched, aimed at
developing a culture of charity through children's creativity.
Since 2018,
thematic creative and charitable events will be held throughout the country.
Their goal is to show that creativity is not limited to physical possibilities
and friendship and solidarity will help to educate a generation whose value
orientations are based on good and mutual assistance. Igor Krutoy said that the
“Good Wave” is a full-fledged festival, in which there are no restrictions for
children.
“We will
start from those cities where we already have branches of the Academy of
Popular Music”. And then, I think it will be a synergy, other cities will open
the academy and join the “Good Wave”, said I. Krutoy. “Even if we bring 10 boys
from the street in this project it will mean that we founded it for good”, he
said. “The most important thing in the project is to achieve a dream, which
every child has”, added I. Krutoy. Participants of the festival will be able to
tell about their dreams in the questionnaire, which they will fill out when
submitting an application. This year, dreams of several children were
fulfilled.
Today the
first gala concert of the “Good Wave”, which will be a presentation of the
project to the public, will take place in the concert hall “Academy”. In the
New Year holidays, thousands of viewers of the federal television channel NTV
will be able to see the “Good Wave”. “The air on the federal channel will give
importance to this project”, believes the composer.
He wished
the new project a fair wind and expressed his hope that in the future, one of the
participants will reach the international level.
“We would
like to see Kazan not only a comfortable and safe city but also a city of good,
so that kind people could live, grow, and do good”, said the Mayor. “Starting
the project “Good Kazan”, we saw how many gifted children of different ages
have the talent to perform on stage and that children with disabilities are not
limited in their talents”, said Ilsur Metshin. “Starting the “Good Wave”, we
want to say that this is a whole ocean of possibilities”. According to the
Mayor, children of different ages from different cities can become participants
of the festival. The “Good Wave” will become a platform for the joint
creativity of children regardless of the limitations of their physical health.
The festival is aimed at developing the creative potential of talented children
and youth, as well as creating conditions for the socialization of people with
limited health opportunities and children in difficult life situations.
“We would
like to be united by good and desire to do good and our talented children”,
marked the head of the city.
He thanked
composer Igor Krutoy and reminded that under his leadership and thanks to his
talent many projects were realized in the capital of Tatarstan. The “Good Wave”
will be a continuation of the joint creative path and friendship.
“Let the
ocean of good raise the “Good Wave” to such a level that these waves reach not
only to the edge of our great immense country but also across it”, said Ilsur
Metshin.
Later at a
press conference, Stella Khachanyants, the general director of the Academy of
Popular Music of Igor Krutoy, said that the age of the festival participants is
from 9 to 16 years. They will be able to show their talents in different
directions: vocal, choreography, acting, and stage movement.
