The delegation of Tatarstan is in the UAE to participate in the events of the World Championship “WorldSkills”
(KZN.RU, October 18). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, arrived in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) on a working visit. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, is part of the delegation of the RT. The head of the republic will attend the World Championship of Professional Skills and take part in the ceremony of awarding the winners and closing the “WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017”.
Today, Rustam Minnikhanov visited various venues for the professional skills competition “WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017” and studied the specially created infrastructure at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), where the world championship is held.
Also, the President of the RT met with Daoud Al-Shezawi, the head of Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions (UAE), who is the president of the Annual Investment Forum in Dubai. The “Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions” is one of the leading organizers of exhibitions and conferences in the UAE, including the “WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017”. The specialists of the company have a reputation of leading experts in all aspects related to the exhibition industry.
During the closing ceremony, the ceremony of transferring the “WorldSkills” flag to the delegation of the Russian Federation, the country that next will host the World Championship of Professional Skills 2019 in Kazan. It is planned that the “WorldSkills” flag will be handed to Olga Golodets, the head of the Russian delegation and the deputy chairman of the Government of the RF, the chairman of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the World Championship of Professional Skills in Standards of the WorldSkills in Kazan. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT and the deputy chairman of the organizing committee, as well as members of the organizing committee: Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Robert Urazov, the general director of the union “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia), Alexey Likhachev, the general director of the State Corporation for Atomic Energy “Rosatom”, will receive the flag as well, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
