Ilsur Metshin took part in the meeting of State Council of RT
(Kazan City KZN.RU, 28 June). Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the XIX session of the Tatarstan State Council of the fifth convocation today. The agenda included 27 issues.
The work took place in the hall of the State Council of RT. 13 draft laws of Republic of Tatarstan were considered in the first reading, 3 - in the second. The project of amending the budget of the republic and the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund budget for 2016 was considered in the first reading. In addition, projects of amending the Budget Code and Code of municipal service of Tatarstan, as well as the republican laws on state civil service, the Public Chamber, the procedure and conditions for granting of the title "Veteran of Labor", education and others were prepared for the first reading.
Projects on amendments to the republican law on the veterinary, of youth and of state youth policy, on cultural heritage sites in the Republic of Tatarstan were considered in the second reading.
In particular, a bill on amendments to the republican law on the procedure and conditions for the assignment of the title "Veteran of work" passed in three readings, the legislators returned the centralized procurement of medicines to treat rare diseases. In addition, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev called senators, representing Tatarstan in the Federation Council, to refrain from approving the package of bills by Yarovaya-Ozerov. According to him, a lot of questions remain to the anti-terrorism package of laws. He noted that a package of bills has caused a resonance in the society, the press-service of State Council of RT informs. "Tomorrow the law will be considered in the Council of the Federation. I would ask members from the Republic of Tatarstan in the Federation Council to refrain from approving", - Mintimer Shaimiev concluded. His idea was supported by Chairman of State Council of RT Farid Mukhametshin.
