(Kazan City
KZN.RU, May 18). Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in
the seminar meeting of the Volga federal district prosecutors. The event was
devoted to improving the public prosecutor's supervision over the
implementation of laws in the field of security on the objects with massive
presence.
The
seminar-meeting was attended by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Deputy Prosecutor
General Sergei Zaitsev, deputy presidential envoy in the Volga Federal District
Alexei Sukhov, the prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Nafikov,
representatives of the Academy of General Prosecutor's Office, deputies
prosecutors of subjects included in the Volga Federal District and other
invited guests.
Deputy
Prosecutor General Sergei Zaitsev greeted the participants. In turn, the
President of the Republic of Tatarstan thanked for the selection Kazan the
venue of this seminar, the press service of the President of the Republic of
Tatarstan informs. The experience of such events shows their appropriateness
and relevance, the head of the republic said.
According
R.Minnihanov, today the economic potential of the republic allows to solve
social problems, and important criteria of our work is to improve the quality
of life of citizens. In the area of market trading Tatarstan has gone from
spontaneous street markets and rebuilt from industrial hangars objects of trade
to modern wholesale and retail complexes, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded. At the
end of 2015 the supply of the population with retail spaces per 1 thousand of residents
averaged 765 square meters in the republic, 1074 square meters - in Kazan,
which exceeds the minimum standards.
However,
not all objects with mass stay of people functioning today accept levels of
safety, Rustam Minnikhanov noted. "It is important to introduce modern
requirements in terms of safety facilities and innovative technologies in the
sphere of production and services, this work should be done systematically,
with the involvement of all stakeholders", - the President of Tatarstan summed
up. He noted that this work is particularly relevant in view of the Confederation
Cup 2017 and the world championship in 2018.
