(KZN.RU, May16th, by Taisiya Basharkina). The Deputy President of the Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich has arrived in Kazan today. The visitor, together with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Il’dar Kalikov, the Mayor of Kazan Il’sur Metshin, and the Deputy Prime Minister – the Minister of Information and Communications of Tatarstan Nikolay Nikiforov, has familiarized himself with the achievements of the IT park business incubator.
In Mr. Dvorkovich’s words, Tatarstan is heading towards becoming the leading hub for high-tech innovation, and Kazan is likely to become the capital of Russia’s IT. Information technology is successfully applied in the public sector: paying traffic tickets, placing a child on a kindergarten waiting list, applying for a marriage license – all this can be done through the Internet, without leaving home or office.
Five IT companies of the business incubator presented their innovative projects to the visitors. The young experts spoke about their projects: "Effektivno.rf" -an automated model of evaluation of municipal employees, «SpeakTo» - a distance learning service, "Avtodoriya" -a monitoring system for observing traffic regulations, «10tracks.ru» - a system of music storage and distribution, and «Plusner» - an Internet service for authorized mailing of messages.
«The main plus of the IT park, says A.Dvorkovich, “is its convenience for programmers, who make very good products. Many have a good chance of success as demand for such products grows daily ».
The mayor of Kazan Il’sur Metshin was particularly interested in the project "Effektivno.rf". This is a unique service which is capable of complex state and municipal employee evaluation with a minimum expenditure of time. Competence evaluation makes it possible to create individual programs of development for each employee, programs for team development and for creating reserve personnel. The goal of the project developers is to improve the overall performance of the state and municipal employees. Among the participants of the project in Tatarstan are the employees of the municipality of Naberezhnye Chelny and of the administrations of Zelenodolsky and Drozhzhanovsky municipal regions.
Having learned about the projects, the Mayor of Kazan and the Deputy President of the Russian Federation proceeded to plant fir-trees in the IT park alley.
Sharing his impressions about the IT park with journalists, Arkady Dvorkovich remarked that Tatarstan had scored: it was the first to enter the information market and was already gaining benefits.
It will be remembered that the hi-tech IT park is a business platform for the support and development of promising IT solutions for startups to facilitate their promotion on foreign markets.
