Mayor of Kazan urged citizens to follow safety rules during the New Year holidays

(Kazan City KZN.RU, December 28, Zilya Gayfi). Mayor Ilsur Metshin urged residents and visitors of the city to observe safety rules during the New Year holidays and make fireworks only in specially designated areas on today's Business Monday.

According to the head of the Office of Civil Defense of Executive Committee Ferdinand Timurhanov, in Kazan New Year celebrations with mass stay of people will be organized on 415 sites, including 29 tree towns. "All the objects are tested by fire inspection and admitted to the event. Adjustments of fire protection plans, checking of the sources of fire water supply, access to roads were conducted. Duty of personnel of departments of supervisory activities is organized at 41 objects. 230 people and 65 units of equipment are in the permanent readiness. The reserve includes 690 people and 24 units of special vehicles. A total of 920 people and 89 pieces of equipment are ready, "- Ferdinand Timurhanov said and encouraged enterprises in the city to check the alarm systems and fire extinguishers.

Recall, December 15, in Tatarstan under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan a special fire-fighting mode is introduced. Four areas for launch pyrotechnics are identified in the city. Already December 28 it will be possible to admire the fireworks - in honor of the opening of the main New Year tree in Millennium Park volley will be made in the waters of Kaban Lake. Also on 29 December at the opening of the ice town at the Puppet Theatre "Ekiyat" fireworks will be launched into the sky at a distance of 200 meters from the theater.

Therefore I appeal to residents, especially to parents who want to give their children a holiday, with a request to be vigilant and follow safety rules.
