The 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Arbitration Court was in Kazan City Hall

(Kazan City KZN.RU, December 24). Today in Kazan City Hall a solemn event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Arbitration Court of the Volga district was held. It was attended by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others.

Recall, the Arbitration Court of the Volga district (until August 6, 2014 - The Federal Arbitration Court of the Volga district) was established in accordance with federal law in November 1995. The city of Kazan was determined as the place of permanent residence.

The Arbitration Court of the Volga district checks judicial acts adopted by courts of arbitration of the Astrakhan region, the Volgograd region, the Penza region, the Samara region, the Saratov region, Republic of Tatarstan, the Ulyanovsk region, and judicial acts of the eleventh and twelfth arbitration appellate courts formed in the judicial district.

Today's solemn event was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation - the chairman of the Judicial Board on Economic Disputes Oleg Sviridenko, chairman of the Arbitration Court of the Volga district Yuri Glazov and others.

"Maybe 20 years is a short time - Rustam Minnikhanov said in a speech. - But if you look back, we can see that we were different, the issues regarding the arbitration were resolved differently. Today the country has become completely different; this is a new market economy".

People come to the Court of Arbitration for a just solution, Rustam Minnikhanov said. He thanked all those who work in the Volga District Arbitration court for their professionalism, the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan informs.

Next year there will be some highlights related to improving the working conditions of our judges, Rustam Minnikhanov promised, we understand that such tasks are entrusted to us and we are ready to take active part in them.

Rustam Minnikhanov also presented state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to employees of the Arbitration Court of the Volga district - the medal "For valorous work", the honorary title "Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Tatarstan", Thanks of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A film dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Federal Arbitration Court of the Volga district was shown to the participants of the event. The Vice-President of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation - the chairman of the Judicial Board on Economic Disputes Oleg Sviridenko addressed with a welcoming words. Representatives of creative groups, artists of the Republic of Tatarstan performed with the concert numbers.
