The course of events was observed by Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, Mayor Ilsur Metshin, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, head of the Executive Committee of the city Denis Kalinkin, representatives of national departments and divisions of the Executive Committee of Kazan and numerous guests and residents of the city.

As part of the running of the day races for the prize of the Federation of horse breeding and equestrian sport of RT, the prize of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan Mayor's Award, a prize in honor of the city, the prize of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan Cup Racetrack and others were held. The longest distance in the competition was 2,400 meters, the shortest - 1000 meters. The total prize fund of the sports festival was 7 million rubles.

Stallions and mares from two years old, thoroughbred and Arabian horses competed at the equestrian events. The center race of the day for the prize of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan with the biggest prize pool of 3 million rubles was won by the bay stallion God Dream with master jockey Nicholai Kolomeitsev. Agility of the horse estimated at 2 minutes 36 seconds.

Bay stallion Real Navigator under Valery Burnakov came first in the race for the prize of the Mayor of Kazan. The winner finished with a time of 1 minute 40 seconds.

Master rider Gennady Bolshakov won the prize in honor of the city. The bay stallion named Fakel under his management came first with a score of 2 minutes 20 seconds.

Awards were presented to winners by State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazip Khazipov.

A concert and an exhibition of products of the Kazan companies and manufacturers of the districts of Tatarstan were organized in celebration of the City Day at the racetrack.
