R.Minnikhanov and I. Metshin visited the large-scale concert at the stadium "Kazan Arena"

(Kazan City KZN.RU, August 30, Albert Murtazin). Today in Kazan a series of events dedicated to the Day of the Republic and the City Day is held. Stadium "Kazan Arena" became one of the main venues of celebration; near it a large-scale concert with participation of leading groups and performers of Tatarstan and Russia was held. The guests of the festive event were the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

Head of the republic welcomed the numerous guests and congratulated them on this important and solemn event. He recalled that at present the capital of Tatarstan has everything to be proud of it - international events, such as the recently ended World Championships in Aquatics, are held in Kazan. "We can see how Kazan changes, how Tatarstan changes. New objects appear - for example, the stadium "Kazan Arena", the new embankment. Today, throughout the republic reconstruction of parks and gardens is going on. We still have big plans ahead! "- said Rustam Minnikhanov.

During the concert, Kazan and guests were able to see performances by the winners of the festivals "Yoldyzlyk" and "Student Spring". On stage vocal, choreographic and humorous numbers were presented. Music block of the concert was presented by performances of finalists the All-Russian Student Festival "Energy of Rock" - a group "Silfred Evaldovich" and Kazan rock band "Shirkers".

The most anticipated performances were the headliners of the concert. The famous pop group "A-Studio" kindled the audience, performing all of their biggest hits. Then the baton was handed over to the People's Artist of Russia Yuri Antonov, who tore applause, just coming on the scene. He congratulated everyone on the holiday and recited the slogan of the concert - "Bez berge! We are united!”
