Exhibition «Minis United Buddy Bears» replenished with Tatarstan bear in Kazan

In Kazan the international art exhibition «Minis United Buddy Bears» replenished with a new exhibit – the painted in traditional style bear was set on the eve of the start of the World Cup FINA near the center of the family "Kazan". The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and People's Artist of Russia Igor Krutoy congratulated Kazan citizens and guests of the city with the momentous event.

Ilsur Metshin noted that such creative and interesting competitions help arouse the cultural community of the city. "I am delighted that such an event was held here in Kazan. The more there are, the brighter palette of the cultural life of Kazan is"- said the Mayor. He thanked the organizers and participants of the competition, noting that sketches to the jury were sent from artists around the all Volga region. "Thank God, I did not participate in the tender committee, because it is always a difficult choice. I really liked the idea of ​​the contest - it's something that brings people together. And now on the eve of the World Cup in water sports the whole world has gathered in Kazan - 113 countries, "- shared the Mayor.

The Mayor said what he liked about the Tatarstan bear. "I like the fact that it can be easy to recognize. This is our Kazan Bear, there are visible elements of Tatar culture"- Ilsur Metshin congratulated all with the fact that Tatarstan got its own Buddy Bear.

Igor Krutoy joined the congratulations and said that Kazan has changed dramatically in recent years, especially after the Universiade. "It's just crazy growth of the city, of Tatarstan" - said I.Krutoy.

To the accompaniment of Kazan ethno-lounge project "Tatarsis" the bear was established in a front rank of other friendly bears, right in the center of the row. The bear came out very colorful - it is "dressed" in the national costume with a tatar skullcap and painted with bright colors. According to the creator of the image of a bear, 17-year-old Kazan artist Mia Musina, it was supposed that in the paws of the bear will be chak-chak, but due to lack of time this plan wasn’t embodied.

 July 1, on the eve of the World Cup in water sports on the embankment near the "Bowl" an international art exhibition «The Minis United Buddy Bears» has been opened. The project, known around the world, managed to visit five continents; it was held in cities such as Berlin, Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Paris, New Delhi, Sydney, and Warsaw. If the sculpture bears of 2 m growth were in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg before, the mini-bear rising 1.2 m are for the first time in Russia. In its world tour «United Buddy Bears» preach peace, love, tolerance and understanding among peoples.
