(KZN.RU, January 17). Today the Skolkovo Moscow School of Management and the Mayor’s Office of Kazan signed an agreement on non-commercial cooperation in strategic consulting. The pilot project will be the development of promotion strategies of Kazan brand in the international arena.
"This is a very interesting project for us because Kazan is one of the fastest growing cities in Russia. It will give Skolkovo students an opportunity to gain practical experience in the areas of branding which is up-to-date for many Russian cities and regions. Indeed today they are little known abroad and this, in its turn, thwarts the progress of inbound tourism and reduces the investment attractiveness of our country as a whole. We are confident that the project on Kazan brand promotion will be bright and successful", Alexey Germanovich, the Skolkovo Director in social and public spheres commented on the event.
The project was approval by Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. "Over the past year Kazan was visited by more than a million tourists including from abroad. Nevertheless we believe that we need to move on and try to attract all innovations to the city. Recently signed an agreement with the Skolkovo innovation center will allow introducing new developments in the field of housing and urban developments into the City.
