At the Universiade Village finishing works begin

Today Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin held a working meeting on the construction of the Village of the Universiade. At the meeting were discussed the pace of construction, carring out of the conditions of building materials suppliers, the types and quality of the finishing materials, general building maintenance.
 
Construction of the Universiade Village is going nip and tuck. Currently there are erecting 28 residential buildings with a total area of almost 280 sq. m. Of these 20 houses are of the first and second turn with a total area of more than 180 square meters for nearly 8 thousand people, they already have a high degree of readiness. It is planned that in the next academic year students will be able to live there.
 
Houses of the first turn have a variable number of storeys from 9 to 15, residential housing and the second turn - 5-storey. In building houses are 1 -, 2 -, 3-bed rooms, equipped with shower and toilet. On the territory of the Universiade Village in the future will be built community center, student health center, stadium and swimming pool.
