The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the progress of work at one of the largest road projects – the renovation of Rakhlina, Noksinskaya, Zirekle and Dorozhny Pereulok Streets. Together they form a 3.4-kilometer semicircle connecting the Mamadyshsky Tract and Pobedy Avenue through the villages of Konstantinovka, Malye Klyki, Tsaritsynsky Bugor, as well as the residential complex Svetlaya Dolina, Green, Leto and Noksa Park. The improvement of transport accessibility will affect about 30,000 residents.
“Road repairs are in progress in Kazan: we will bring 204 road sections to a standard condition. One of the most important projects is being implemented in the Sovetsky city district. It will allow connecting Mamadyshsky Tract and Pobedy Avenue, creating a convenient passage for residents of three villages and four residential complexes. This improvement will affect more than 30,000 Kazan residents. After the completion of the work, modern lighting and safe pedestrian crossings will be installed here, as well as a new bus route will be launched, which will significantly improve the quality of life in these neighborhoods,”- Ilsur Metshin said.
Presently, work is underway at Nathan Rakhlin, Noksinskaya, Zirekle and Dorozhny Pereulol Streets. Asphalt is being renovated on the streets, and roadway replacement, new sidewalks, and the installation of a wrist lighting system where there was none before are planned for all sections.
The reconstruction will allow launching a bus route along the new transport corridor. Due to this, residents of residential complexes and villages of Konstantinovka, Malye Klyki and Tsaritsynsky Bugor receive direct and convenient transport links to other districts of Kazan.
This year, the repair of the road network will affect 204 sections with a length of more than 100 km. Over 27 billion rubles have been allocated for these works.
