I. Metshin: “Our task in the current situation is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the urban economy”

In Kazan, the fuel situation did not affect the operation of public transport. The city authorities together with the TAIF group of companies implemented new logistic routes and refueling processes, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee Ildar Shakirov reported at a staff meeting. 

Every day, 615 buses operate on the routes of Kazan. About 60% of them run on gas-powered fuel. For the remaining buses, the TAIF group of companies opened a separate gas station at the request of the city authorities. This station allowed refueling of the municipal transport, ensuring their uninterrupted operation. 

“Municipal enterprises consume gasoline and diesel fuel as other car owners. Our task in the current situation is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the urban infrastructure, public transportation, and the provision of food for kindergartens, hospitals, social institutions, as well as school and country camps. To date, there are no disruptions. In the face of turbulence, we will continue to fulfill our responsibilities to the city's residents in a timely and efficient manner,”- said the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. 

He expressed gratitude to the TAIF Group for their prompt organization of work.
