The overhaul of the Registry Office of the Privolzhsky District on Rikharda Zorge Street has been completed by 40%. The rough work has been completed, and the builders are starting the interior works. Every year, this Registry Office provides 47,000 public services, including over 10,000 civil registrations. The adjacent apartment building is being renovated as well under the republican program for the overhaul of apartment buildings. Today, the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin inspected the progress of the work.
“Kazan is being actively developed and with its growth the load on its social infrastructure increases. Today we are visiting the Registry Office on Rikharda Zorge Street. This building was constructed over 40 years ago, and unfortunately, it has not been renovated. Thanks to the support of the republic's leadership, we have finally started a renovation project. Every year, this Registry Office provides 47,000 public services. Once the renovation is completed, we will not only improve the quality of services but also create comfortable conditions for both residents and the medical workers,”- said Ilsur Metshin.
Renovation work at the facility started in March. In three months, the builders replaced the utilities, including water supply, sewage, electricity, ventilation, and air conditioning. They also dismantled the old floors, built new brick partitions, and reinforced the roof. Currently, the interior decoration is underway.
The interior design will have light colors, such as beige which represents purity, and gold, a reference to the golden wedding that every couple aspires to.
