Business forum, gastro-festival, and a big concert: the Days of Kazan kick off in Minsk
On May 24 - 26, the Days of Kazan will take place in the capital of Belarus for the first time. This is a return visit of an official delegation from Tatarstan to Minsk. The Days of Minsk in Kazan took place on June 9-10, 2025. The program of activities in Minsk includes a business forum, the Tasty Kazan gastronomic festival, a friendly match of young hockey players, and the signing of several cooperation agreements.
The Mayor Ilsur Metshin headed the delegation from Kazan.
The key business event will be the economic business forum “Minsk and Kazan: Twin Cities as a New Driver of Development at the Victoria Olimp Hotel. As many as 40 business representatives from various sectors of the economy, including industry, technology, catering, and folk crafts, have arrived in Minsk from the capital of Tatarstan. The host side will include representatives from more than 100 companies operating in the fields of innovative technologies, mechanical engineering, healthcare, tourism, and other industries. Bilateral meetings will be held after the plenary session. A number of agreements and will be signed at the forum.
National Tatar dishes - echpochmak, kystyby, elesh, Kazan pilaf, belyash will be offered at the Tasty Kazan fest. Visitors can try Kazan cheeses, and such delicacies as kazy and dried goose, chak-chak, kosh tele, sherbet, as well as hot Tatar tea with milk and herbs. The best cafes and restaurants of Kazan Kazan will participate in the festival.
A gastronomic and craft fair will present decorative and applied art with elements of traditional Tatar life, including national costumes. There will be master classes on coin minting, making national jewelry, folk dancing, painting stained glass and postcards, and creating leather magnets.
Performances by artists and creative groups from Kazan will also take place during the Days.
Today, the Ice Palace will host a friendly hockey match between the youth teams from Kazan and Minsk.
