2013 to take Russia into lead for international sports competitions
(KZN.RU, December 5) 2013 will take the Russian Federation into lead among countries hosting sports competitions. This was announced today by the Minister of Sports of Russia Vitaly Mutko at an enlarged meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Executive Board of the 27th World Summer Universiade in Kazan.
The video conference was held between Moscow (Ministry of Sports) and Kazan (Tatarstan Government House). President Rustam Minnikhanov represented the Republic of Tatarstan. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin also participated in the conference.
General Director of the Executive Board of the 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan, Vladimir Leonov, said that the official website of the 2013 Universiade is registering participants. So far, 87 countries have submitted their applications.
