10 years' volume of road work to be completed in a single year in Kazan
(KZN.RU, November 28, by Renat Shirmanov) Ten years' volume of road work will be completed in Kazan in a single year. By the New Year, the residents of the capital of Tatarstan will be presented with another major thoroughfare. Ilsur Metshin, in a live program "Topic" on "Efir" TV, thanked the federal and republican authorities for their cooperation.
Ilsur Metshin reminded that during this year, about 17 roads have been built and 52 streets repaired in Kazan. Work at many of these sites was hampered by the dilapidated networks, which had to be replaced.
"By the New Year, we hope to give our residents a new thoroughfare connecting Tankovoe Koltso with Pushkin Street at Kazan School of Finance. We're completing a 10-year program in a single year, and I want to thank the Federal Government and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for their cooperation," said the mayor.
