A new youth club “Yaratam” will open in winter on Korolenko Street in
the Moskovsky district of Kazan. Its construction is completed by 83%. About
800 young Kazan residents will be able to attend classes of the club, and up to
three thousand children a month can be covered by various events. Classes in
programming, dance, applied creativity, 3D modeling, robotics and others will
take place there. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin held a meeting on the work
of the club at the construction site the day before.
The youth club "Yaratam” with an area of 1,371 sq.m. is being built
at 11a Korolenko Street. As of today, the construction works have been
completed by 83%. The concrete works have been completed, the construction
workers have moved on to finishing the premises and landscaping the territory.
“There are many children and teenagers living in this neighborhood. There
were no youth clubs nearby and with the support of the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam
Minnikhanov we found an opportunity to build this building. We plan to open a
youth club on Korolenko Street in winter. It is very important to us that after
the opening so that after school children receive additional education, develop
their talents,”- said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan.
A multifunctional hall will open on the ground floor of the new club,
coworking zones, a cyber room, a yoga and dance room, a cafe with an electronic
flipchart will open on the second floor. An outdoor terrace will be located on
the third floor.
As the director of the MBU Podrostok Ekaterina Sogrina explained, they
chose directions for the new club in order to attract a variety of teenagers on
the one hand, and on the other – to provide young Kazan residents with the
opportunity to study the most popular areas today. Esports, programming, 3D
modeling, robotics, applied creativity, choreography, yoga, pilates and jumping
will be available for children and teenagers.
“The new center is a large open youth space. The name of the club is
Yaratam, it is simple, but very rich and evokes warm feelings. We want the guys
who will study here to love what they do. This is very important for the
development of teenagers' talents and abilities,”- Ekaterina Sogrina said.
