The Mayor
of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met with Nikita Perov, the winner of the gold medals of
the International Chemistry Olympiads, and Bulat Nurgaliyev, the youngest drone
operator in Russia. The head of the city congratulated guys, wished them
further development and presented them letters of thanks and memorable gifts.
Nikita
Perov is a many-times winner of Chemistry Olympiads, twice gold medalist of the
International Mendeleev Olympiad. This year he won the gold medal of the
International Chemistry Olympiad, the results of which were summed up two weeks
ago in Switzerland. This year he graduated from school № 131 of the Vakhitovsky
city district and will continue his studies at the Kazan Federal University.
He said
that his teacher Alfiya Safonova instilled a love of chemistry, and teachers
from the city chemistry school trained him for the Science Olympiads. In his
opinion, KFU is able to compete with the leading universities of our country,
including Moscow State University.
Nikita
Perov's coaches are chemistry teachers from the school who have trained many
train prize–winners and winners of the All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren,
as well as other specialized science competitions.
The
youngest drone operator in Russia, Bulat Nurgaliyev is 14 years old, he studies
at school №6 of the Privolzhsky city district. He showed the best results at
the Archipelago-2023 design and educational intensive, shooting down three
improvised aircraft during the competition and performing a number of other
exercises. According to the results of the competitions, he was awarded nine
cups and medals.
Bulat said
that he had always dreamed of being a pilot, but became interested in piloting
drones three years ago. With his own hands, he assembled more than 20 drones.
Bulat came
to the meeting with the Mayor together with his father, who is also his coach.
Marsel Nurgaliyev works at the Kazan IT&C College.
“My dad got
me involved in this amazing hobby, he wants me to be better than others. After
school, I plan to become a civil aviation pilot. After school, I will study
information security in Kazan,”- Bulat Nurgaliyev said.
The father
of a young drone operator trains the same specialists in college as his son to
participate at the Professionals championship movement. Now he already has two
experienced pilots from the technical school, as well as beginners.
“I try to
support my son's hobby, and I spend all my salary on buying parts,”- said Marsel
Nurgaliyev.
The meeting
was also attended by Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Kazan Guzel
Sagitova and Head of the Department of Education Irek Rizvanov.
