The Art school on Revolutsionnaya Street in the Kazan village of Yudino to be overhauled by the new academic year

In the Kazan village of Yudino, the renovation of the children's music school No. 10 on Revolutsionnaya Street will be completed by the new academic year. Young musicians and artists will be able to study in separate comfortable classrooms after the overhaul. The progress of work was inspected by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

Along with the renovation of educational facilities in Kazan, a renovation program of youth clubs, children's music and art schools is being implemented not only at the central parts of the city, but also at remote villages, the Mayor emphasized. “A lot has been done in Yudino for the centenary of the village: the Palace of Culture has been renovated, the Alley of Glory of Veterans of the Great Patriotic War has opened, as well as the Yuldash youth club, - I.Metshin reminded. - Now the art school is being renovated, which will welcome 500 children on September 1”.

Repair work in the building, built in 1974, began in early June, funds were allocated from the federal and republican budgets. Developing the project of the art school, the specialists changed the structure of the premises: one wing was allocated to artists, where studios, classrooms, a pottery workshop will be located, and the second – to musicians, where there will also be classrooms and a concert hall.

Since the reconstruction of the building was required, dismantling and installation of new sound walls took a lot of time at the first stage of the work, said Nail Sibagatov, director of the contractor organization SK Agat.

During the renovation, water supply networks were replaced in the building, and it is also planned to update the facade, said Sergei Mironov, head of the administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts.

After the renovation, the educational institution will be officially renamed the Art school.
