Today, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation
Mikhail Mishustin during his working visit to Tatarstan got acquainted with the
construction of new clinical infectious diseases hospital named after A.F.Agafonov in Kazan.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and relevant ministers
provided explanations during the inspection of the construction site. The
inspection was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation
Marat Khusnullin, Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko, head of Russian
Agency for Health and Consumer Rights Anna Popova, Plenipotentiary Representative
of the Russian President in the Volga district Igor Komarov, Mayor of Kazan
Ilsur Metshin and others.
The construction of new infectious diseases and
laboratory sections of the infectious diseases hospital in Kazan has been
underway since April due to the spread of coronavirus infection. The work is
being carried out near the Republican infectious diseases clinics.
Mikhail Mishustin was informed that the infectious
diseases building is designed for 232 beds with the capacity to accommodate up
to 400-500 beds in case of serious infections, including 12 beds for intensive
care.
M. Mishustin thanked everyone for their professional
work. “The pandemic has shown our weak points, - he said. – Now, we are observing a fusion of
technologies and optimization of work processes (including IT) that allow us to
actually build such a facility in a hundred days. We already have many such experiences
in our country”.
Prime Minister reminded that a decree of the Russian
Government has already been signed today, which changes 30% of mandatory
requirements in the construction sector into recommendatory, allowing to reduce
administrative barriers in the construction industry. “These updated
construction technologies give us completely different opportunities. This will
reduce time and costs, ensure transparency of relations in construction”, - Tatarstan
President’s Press Office quotes M.Mishustin.
For information, the new section of the hospital is
planned to be equipped with a high-tech medical equipment.
The standard implementation period for such a project
is 18 months. This project will be implemented in 100 days-thanks to measures
to reduce administrative barriers in the construction industry.
During his two-day working visit, Prime Minister of
Russia Mikhail Mishustin will visit Technopark named after A. S. Popov and
exhibitions of the IT projects, and will hold a meeting with Tatarstan
President Rustam Minnikhanov and State Counsellor of Tatarstan Mintimer
Shaimiev.
On July 10, Mikhail Mishustin will visit the Alabuga
special economic zone, where he will hold a meeting on the construction of the
Europe-Western China highway.
