Simplified registration of foreigners introduced in Kazan hotels
(KZN.RU, January 30, by Renat Shirmanov) Six hotels in the capital of Tatarstan introduced simplified registration of foreign visitors.
Previously, visitors had to register on paper, which was then sent to the appropriate authorities. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin authorized electronic registration of visitors.
Within a month, electronic registration of guests will be introduced in 13 more hotels.
The software is being installed in the hotels for free. The hotels are only required to purchase digital signature.
