This year in
Kazan it is planned to put into operation the first polylingual educational
complex “Adymnar- a pathway to knowledge and consent”. Mintimer Shaimiev, State
Councilor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the supervisory board of
the Republican Foundation “Vozrozhdeniye”, held a visiting meeting at the
construction site today. The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur
Metshin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of
education and science Rafis Burganov, Minister of construction, architecture
and housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Khanifov and others.
Polylingual
school for 1224 seats with a dormitory block is located on the Bondarenko
street. Inside the building, which has already been built by the roof, the meeting
participants were presented with three options for the design of classrooms and
the lobby of the future school. Also, design sketches have been made for the
facades of the polylingual school on Bondarenko street and the bilingual school
on Bichurin street. School № 165 with advanced study of English, located on
Bichurin street, was chosen as the base for the creation of the first
multilingual educational complex in Kazan. In April 2020, reconstruction of the
school building will begin, reports Tatarstan President’s press office.
Later, a
meeting was held in one of the future classrooms, where current issues were
discussed. “We are pioneers. By the September 1, 2020 - the year of the 75th
anniversary of the Great Victory and the 100th anniversary of the TASSR, we
must put into operation this first multilingual educational complex. Now we are
entering the final stage of construction, so there are no unimportant issues and
should not be”, - Mintimer Shaimiev noted.
The Mayor
of Kazan Ilsur Metshin emphasized that this complex is a real gift to Kazan
citizens. “These are seeds from which strong and beautiful trees will grow and
will benefit future generations”, - the
head of the city said.
Educational
complex “Adymnar – a pathway to knowledge and consent” will comprise of the elementary school for 672
pupils and bilingual school for 800 students (Bichurin str.), polylingual
school with primary education for 1224 seats with a dormitory building for 240 seats
(Bondarenko str.) and year-round center for supplementary education for 270 students
on the base of educational camp “Plamya” (Gorkovsky highway).
For
information, Kazan will become the first city in Tatarstan to establish
polylingual educational complex “Adymnar”. In total by 2022, it is planned to establish
six such complexes. The project aims to create a model of an educational
complex where children will be educated in Russian, Tatar and English, and will
be raised in the spirit of interethnic harmony.
