Prospects for the implementation of joint projects with the Turkish company were discussed in the Cabinet of Ministers of the RT
(KZN.RU, June 26). Zapfer Yildyrym, the head of the Turkish investment and construction company “Yapi and Yapi Inshaat”, met with Rustam Minnikhanov by the President of the RT, today.
The meeting took place in the Government House of the RT. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Albert Karimov, the deputy prime minister of the RT and the minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic RT, Lenar Safin, the minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the RT, Alexey Frolov, the acting minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the RT, representatives of the republican ministries and departments took part in it.
The company “Yapi & Yapi Insaat” (YAPI & YAPI İNŞAAT) was founded in 1974 in Istanbul. Today it is one of the leading investment and construction companies in Turkey realizing projects of urban and road infrastructure, residential complexes, office buildings, recreational zones, etc.
Opening the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the guests on the completion of the presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey. By the results of the vote, the country's president was Recep Tayyip Erdogan. “Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, congratulated Mr. Erdogan. I believe it is very important that the leaders of our countries have good contacts. This allows us to actively implement joint projects”, said the President of the RT.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted the dynamic development of trade and economic relations between Tatarstan and Turkey. Thus, mutual trade increased by 40% by the results of the last year.
Turkey is one of the leading foreign partners of Tatarstan. A number of Turkish companies implemented their investment projects in the republic. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, factories “Kastamonu Entegre”, “Hayat Kimya”, “Shishejam” – “Trakya Glass Rus”, “Joshkunoz”, “Tirsan Cardan”, “Efes”, and others are working successfully in Tatarstan. One of the latest projects is the opening of a service metal center of joint production of the Turkish company “Joshkunoz” and the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine.
During the meeting, the parties discussed possible options for developing cooperation, considered prospects for implementing joint projects, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
